With over 17 years of personal recovery from substance abuse, Jennifer draws from her own experiences to guide others on their journey toward healing and empowerment. For the past six years, she has been instrumental in helping families navigate the complexities of addiction, focusing on the importance of effective communication and establishing supportive boundaries.
Her personal journey has ignited a passion for providing hope and clarity to family members who often feel hopeless and overwhelmed. Through her coaching practice, Jennifer has developed actionable strategies that have positively impacted countless individuals, allowing them to foster healthier relationships with their loved ones while maintaining their own well-being.

Gail Morales is a former financial services executive with over 25 years of experience at Globally Systemically Important Banks. As a leader in Consumer and Business Banking she has managed teams through periods of significant growth and through economic crises. She also played key roles in transforming Human Resources and Supply Chain Management. Gail is active in her community and currently serves as the Board Chair of Harvard Business School African-American Alumni Association, Modern Executive Solutions Advisory Board member and is a member of Leadership Atlanta. Previously, she served on the Global Harvard Business School Alumni Board, Board Chair and President of the Harvard Business School Club of Atlanta, and as Director of the Trust for Public Land Advisory Board and the Greater Atlanta YWCA.

Kit Roberts is a passionate advocate for recovery-friendly workplaces, currently serving as the Director of Recovery Friendly Workplace Programs at WCI in Asheville, NC, and as a Recovery Advisor for Recovery Friendly NC. With extensive experience in human resources across various sectors, she helps organizations implement supportive policies for employees in recovery. In 2021, Kit founded A Renovated Life, a coaching and consulting business dedicated to empowering individuals to rebuild their lives with purpose. As a Certified Recovery Coach and Professional Life Coach, she creates environments where recovery can thrive. Kit is also the author of A Renovated Life: Restoration Room by Room, which offers readers practical tools to transform their recovery journey. A proud graduate of Appalachian State University, Kit believes in the power of shared experiences, laughter, and the simple joys of life, including the companionship of a dog and dark chocolate.

This educational background has not only shaped her professional approach but has also fueled her commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of those she serves. Melanie’s role at the Irene Wortham Center allows her to merge her financial skills with her dedication to the recovery community.
Outside of her professional commitments, Melanie enjoys engaging in activities that promote personal well-being, such as mindfulness practices and volunteering. She is an advocate for work-life balance and continuously seek opportunities for personal growth and development.
